Who We Are
Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) started its journey in 2016 with the vision of establishing technology oriented applied knowledge based tertiary education system appropriate in the fourth industrial revolution for the first time in Bangladesh. After obtaining approval from the UGC in June of 2016, the university has already proved its capabilities of becoming one of the leading private universities and providing the best quality education in Bangladesh. Canadian University of Bangladesh is emerging as a symbol of excellence by following North American standard education and inspiring applied knowledge.
The University has eight UGC approved degree programs. Apart from following North American education standards, Canadian University of Bangladesh has an iconic state of the art campus, high tech labs, and credit transfer opportunities with Canadian, American and other top ranked universities of the world. It has 18 research cells, 15 different vibrant clubs and dedicated student support wing to ensure students satisfaction. On this auspicious occasion, as Canadian University of Bangladesh celebrates its 1st convocation, I extend my warmest congratulations to all the graduating students, the faculty members, staff and the authorities of Canadian University of Bangladesh, who altogether made this day remarkable.
This convocation marks an important milestone in the history of this institution and marks the beginning of a new journey for the students. Canadian University of Bangladesh has started its journey with an aim to combine Canadian values, world class Canadian education system in the context of Bangladeshi culture and environment and to provide quality education to students in Bangladesh at an affordable cost.In the short span of time we have been able to distinguish ourselves in terms of global faculty pool, Canadian standard course curriculum, application based teaching methodology, bilateral agreements for job opportunities and international affiliations. Canadian University of Bangladesh is growing rapidly in terms of academic progress by providing quality education. In future, we intend to become the best university of Bangladesh. I am confident that our graduates will go on to become very successful in their respective fields and that they will continuously find ways to contribute to the socio economic development of our country.
